How I Started:
I had always been one of the scrawny guys in school, and when I finished high school, I decided that it was time to change that.
Why I Love It:
I feel really proud that I take care of my body, and I really enjoy the calm that I get from body building. Also, I love watching my body change.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think about how I would look if I stopped working out, and I think about how I want to look. I also remember how much easier it is to sleep at night after a hard workout, that I can eat more when I'm working out, and how good I feel once I've finished a work out.

Goal (Long):
I am going to lift 900 pounds, combined. Right now, it's looking like it's between my deadlift, bench press and clean. 400 for Deadlift, 250 for bench press, and 250 for my clean.
Dave is a great guy. He's always thinking about lifting and adding inches to his arms, even if he's dealing with major problems. He's done an awesome job of losing weight and getting his BF down, and he's always encouraging me and lots of other people on here to keep working out. His consistent weekly blogs are great too, as they keep him honest, and inspire me to stay honest, with myself at least.
I currently have 2 upper body days a week, and 2 lower body days. I pair them together, and do heavy upper body followed by light/stability lower body, then vice versa two days later.
Recently, I realized that I wasn't spending enough time on my shoulders and arms, so I crammed those into...
Awwww...I'm blushing now. Thanks for making me an "official" inspiration and the kind words. I'll do what I can to live up to them no matter how many inches I have to add to my arms (lol)!
Attaboy! I feel I'm getting to whiny as well. There's no cure but to get up and do something about it. Let me know what you think about 5x5 training btw. It looks effective and might be just what we are both looking for!
I'm not sure about being an inspiration, but I'll accept the "cool guy" comment (haha). I'm sure I'll enjoy my vacation - as long as my money holds out at least. How're things going with you? Making progress on the diet?
I hear you - and eating more is tougher than most people think (as you know). Especially when you are trying to do it the right way and not with junk. But it's the only way you'll really grow! Keep on trying and you'll get there.
hey bro how are ya? I am good . I had to take time off to recuperate but I am back in the gym , treadmill and pool this week . still pushing for 8-10% bf and ripped!
Good to hear that you are still at it though I'm sorry to hear that you've been having shoulder/back problems. I hope that you get fully recovered soon. I'm sure you're anxious to get backon the growth track!
Yep, I let the mirror be my ultimate guide - but changes in the mirror seem to come to slowly (I'm sure you know what I mean)! How's everything going for you so far this month, btw?
I'm sure I'm not the only one - a lot of people read but don't comment. Me, I find the blogs some of the most interesting things at this site. Keep cranking them out (sporadically at least!).
