When I Started:
2006
How I Started:
After my inline speed skating season ended in 2006, I knew I needed some type of change, but I didn’t know what. A friend of mine in the speed skating world community, suggested that I try bodybuilding. In his words, “You have the genetics for it.” (thank you Jeff Foster) Even though I had no ideal what “genetics” meant, at the time; or how much of a roll they play in the sport of bodybuilding, it sounded pretty good. Now fully aware of my luck, I can say I’m a natural bodybuilder.
Why I Love It:
THIS IS A TOTOAL LIFESTYLE!
Not every one can and wants to be a bodybuilder. Instead gratification with every workout.
Oh did I mention that I have the genetic for the sport.
How I Stay Motivated:
IM ALL NATURAL!
I compete in bodybuilding at a National level within NPC, and as of June '09 I am now a professional competitor with MuslceMania. I never have used things that would question my loyalty to Natural bodybuilding, and I plan to keep it that way.
Things that motivate me:
-Seeing my fellow competitors
-Watching YouTube clips of bodybuilders (competing/posing)
-Hanging out with gym buds
-shopping @ Costco
-eating
-buying new work out gear (i.e. shoes, supplements, DVD’s, books etc…)
Continue training smart leading up to my first contest June 18-21 09. Hold my Conditioning ! Never cheat on the diet, practice posing daily, mentally preparing myself for the days to comes.
Goal (Long):
Ya... I' ll have to pass on this section.
I prefer not to announce my master plan for total bodybuilding domination. Thank you

How much protein do you eat when trying to gain? I have been getting in 185 grams (1.5xbw), 244 carbs (2xbw), and 70 grams fat (~0.6 g/b) and still not gaining weight. I was wondering if I should bump everything up a bit, or keep protein whhere it is at and just up carbs/fats.
