A certain ex-girlfriend and I ended our 2 year relationship in January of 2007 and she started dating a guy 2 weeks later, so I decided to get into the best shape I could to "show her". Then my friend, Matt, who was really big into it and he just slowly rubbed off on me till I was a fanatic.
Why I Love It:
I LOVE seeing the results in the mirror and the pump I feel and see when I'm lifting is better than anything else!!
How I Stay Motivated:
Every day I'm in the best shape of my life. I never lifted even remotely seriously in high school. Now that I've gotten into the gym and know all about the nutrition, I've never taken more than a week or two off. This way I'm stronger every workout, I'm leaner after every cardio sessio, and the mirror looks better and better every day.
BB Accomplishments:
Raising my one rep max (on bench press) from something like 165 in high school to approx 300 right now. Yessir!

This is what I looked like in high school. Definitely didn't know the definition of the word physique. I weighed 248 lbs at my heaviest and had a 40 inch waist.
Surprisingly this wasn't after a trap workout, it was after a chest workout. Feeling pretty studly for 207 lbs!!
Jeremy has just always been in good shape since the first time I ever met him. I remember being very impressed with his physique from day 1. Its funny too because his pictures don't seem to do him justice, he is actually a lot more muscular in person. I'm also inspired that he is making it through nursing school and the same time he is getting ready to compete! Big props buddy!!!!
Dude! I just traded private flying lessons for a gym membership at the nicest gym in town, and they're going to give me a specialized nutrition plan for bodybuilding. The owner goes to my church and is an ex-pro bodybuilder. Summer six pack is on the way lol
thanks bud, I did Cardio hard today. 10 mins stairs. 35 mins treadmill, with a 1 minutues sprint on 10mph every 5 mins. Then I tried to run another mile on the outdoor track. Half way through the first mile my legs cramped up, and I couldn't move lol got to love it
