When I Started:
Apr, 2008
How I Started:
I've been in the Marine Corps for about a two and a half years. I'm in good shape but I've never been the "biggest" guy around. Time to change things.
Why I Love It:
I love the feeling that I get from a great workout. I love pushing myself to the limit. My general attitude has improved greatly as well as my energy levels.
How I Stay Motivated:
I constantly have my nose in a M&F or Men's Health. or I'm on the computer reading about fitness and nutrition. I keep a mental image of what I want to become and I push myself to do everything I can to make that a reality.
BB Accomplishments:
None...yet.

The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens.

Goal (Long):
I've been in the Marine Corps for a little over a year and a half. I'm now in the best shape of my life but I'm still not very "big". My goal is to have a good amount of muscle yet maintain the 'cut' look.
So, I got back from Iraq and stopped everything. Pretty disappointed in myself. Lost everything I had worked for out there. Took me this long to get back into things. Back in the gym, goals in mind, water bottle in hand. Still a lot of things for me to learn and work on but I have a lot...
10 minutes of good cardio.
full body workout 3 sets of 10 reps with some sort of cardio-esque exercise between sets.
10 minutes of good cardio to finish it off.
Discs are on the way, along with a little extra ;) Back to a weight program after prepping for and nailing the PT test. Today was my first deadlift session in several months. I'm guessing tomorrow will be painful :)
