When I Started:
May, 2000
How I Started:
I started working out in about 2000. I was looking for something to do besides going to work and going home. Didn't really have a specific purpose. Once I started, began to enjoy it.
Why I Love It:
When I go regularly, it keeps my energy level up. I can work off the stress of the day. And I enjoy the spent feeling, knowing I have done something that will benefit my health.
How I Stay Motivated:
That's a good question... one of the reasons I am here. I DON'T stay motivated. I'm hoping being on here will help with that.

None, yet

This was taken on 04/18/08. Just messing around. I've been seriously working out and trying to eat right for about 2 wks.
This me about a month after the last pics. Not much change. But I haven't been going full speed either. So we'll see what happens in the next month or so.
I have been heavy all of my life. I could say it's in my gene's but isn't that the everyday excuse. The women on my father's side are big women. But I am responsible for me and only me. I have never wanted to be a size 4 or anything like that. Just at a healthy weight that I can be proud of. My goal right now is to just make it to the gym regularly. My long term goal is to eventually fit into a size 14. I am currently a size 20. I've thought about doing a bodybuilding show, but let me work on the weight first, then I'll revisit that.
Why I like this video: I love the song he uses in the beginning of this routine... so dramatic
Melvin Anthony Competing
Played: 51
Why I like this video: His fluidty is awesome..is fluidty a word...? LOL!
Coca-oscopy - What's Done In The Dark
Played: 56
Why I like this video: I think I burned about 200 calories laughing at this play the other night. Plus Dr. Harris(played by Christian Keyes um um um!... TOO FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went walking again yesterday. It hasn't been easy because I have been gone for so long. My right Knee started hurting yesterday, but let go of the hurt holding me back and kept going. I didn't go today because I ended up at my niece's softball game. But I will be back out...
I do cardio and weight training. For weight training, I do pyramids(drop sets) for strength building and toning at high reps. For cardio, I try to do atleast 45 mins a day. If cannot do 45 mins, I do 20-30 mins high intensity.
ujust have to set our goal one step at a time develop this, develop that, work on this work on that and it all comes together in time. set your goals small and then the bigger ones follow.
Hey girl you can tell I haven't been on here much but I am still working (at a much more realistic and slower pace) towards my fitness goals. Nursing school has been crazy busy these days but I wanted to hit you back. PM me your email and I will do the same I am always on my email! LOL
Hey best friend I'm so glad you back on the fitness wagon.Yeah its hard trying to balance stressful work with a good workout routine, but I grantee its worth it long term. They say exercise is essential now in these stressful times.Remember Water, water, and lots more water now that you back in the gym good luck we miss you-Brandon
Welcome back to the grind LOL. Just take a week to get a feel of your body's current level of fitness. Try 15 minutes of cardio and if you were once doing weights try lowering the weight from your normal amount and pump out a few reps to see how your body feels. Just spend a week or two reconnecting with your body in a fitness manner. Then set up a new program to get back to doing exercises!
Teresa the last time we talked was in Nov, I've been off site and out of the gym for awhile but as you can see in my goals I'm back in it to win it. So I had to come and see how my friend is doing on her end (training and life).
Hey Teresa, long time no see. How's it going? I fell off the wagon for a bit, but now I'm back in the gym trying to catch up to where I left off. Hopefully, I'll lower my bf a couple of % points by 2009.
