How I Started:
I started working out in about 2000. I was looking for something to do besides going to work and going home. Didn't really have a specific purpose. Once I started, began to enjoy it.
Why I Love It:
When I go regularly, it keeps my energy level up. I can work off the stress of the day. And I enjoy the spent feeling, knowing I have done something that will benefit my health.
How I Stay Motivated:
That's a good question... one of the reasons I am here. I DON'T stay motivated. I'm hoping being on here will help with that.

This was taken on 04/18/08. Just messing around. I've been seriously working out and trying to eat right for about 2 wks.

Goal (Long):
I have been heavy all of my life. I could say it's in my gene's but isn't that the everyday excuse. The women on my father's side are big women. But I am responsible for me and only me. I have never wanted to be a size 4 or anything like that. Just at a healthy weight that I can be proud of. My goal right now is to just make it to the gym regularly. My long term goal is to eventually fit into a size 14. I am currently a size 20. I've thought about doing a bodybuilding show, but let me work on the weight first, then I'll revisit that.

I am feeling down today. It's the holiday, have a free day off of work, I should be happy right? I've been sick the last couple of days with a sinus infection and fever so I have not been to the gym since Tuesday morning. I had absolutely no energy to go today. Supposed to have...
I do cardio and weight training. For weight training, I do pyramids(drop sets) for strength building and toning at high reps. For cardio, I try to do atleast 45 mins a day. If cannot do 45 mins, I do 20-30 mins high intensity.
i am grinding hard... low carb diet and cortisone shots for my injured arm is making my life miserable...but hey getting ripped and cut is misery...but worth it.

i like to change up my hair a lot. i have my different wigs for bad hair days. i also have some braiding hair but i haven't had them done in a while. but yeah i am trying.

lol,i know. i like to take vitamins that are good for my hair too. i need to stop wearing these wigs and wear my real hair. so i take vitamins for that and my nails. it's working too.
