When I Started:
May, 2008
How I Started:
I accepted the Bill Phillips Body-For-Life challange May 2008 in order to trim off the extra 20+ pounds of fat I had put on from months of traveling, dining with clients, and eating lots of hotel room service.
Why I Love It:
Working out gives me an outlet to blow off stress, clear my mind of cluter, and have personal time for myself. When I'm in the gym it's just me and the weights. Plus I loved the changes I saw during the Body-For-Life program and want more of that wonderful success. It's not only a physical change but a mental one as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at my before pictures daily, I never want to go back to being that guy.
I also keep photos of Serge Nubret and Frank Zane in my Bodybuilding Journal because its a combo of those two greats I'm striving to become.
Secondly, I hope that my hard work will influence others to think about their personal and family well being.
It's become a passion for me, one that I hope to turn into a new career in the near future.
BB Accomplishments:
My major accomplishments have been personal ones to date;
Cutting my weight from 186 lbs to 166.5* lbs in twelve weeks, going from a 36 inch waist to a 32 inch waist in twelve weeks, and rebuilding my body outside in.
*I updated the pounds lost from 169 to 166.5 after looking back over my success journal.

Twinsburg-vealupdated Motivation Level from 9/10 to 10/10 and said: "dailing in at a good pace, feeling good. Will get some update photos up soon"
This is me at my all-time worst. 186 pounds, out of shape, unhappy, with a gut, and not wanting to see what I had become. It's a scan of a digit pic so the color is not great.
For past three months along with a power and strength diet (eating more calories) I have done no cardio. I have thickened up a bit. My weight hasn't changed much but my appearance has. I'll continue with little to no cardio for the next few weeks. Then ramp up in early 2010
O.k. It’s time to jump in feet first. My First Contest will be in March 2010!
Goal (Long):
1. Focus concentration on isolating each area of every single muscle.
2.Raise level of intensity.
3. Increase sets and decrease weight
4.clean up diet and hit cardio hard
5. Pose, Pose, Pose
6. Dominate
If I can develop a body half as hard as bestabs I'd be a happy man...lol!
Just look at her, How could this woman not be an inspiration. A work of art to say the least!
I live my life not looking through rose colored lenses but through 12 week cycles. –And I owe it all to Bill Phillips, the brain child behind one of the New York Times #1 Bestsellers Body –for- Life. You’ll find 3 copies in my library;...
Thank you for stopping by, for the wonderful compliment. I especially appreciate the CLASSY remark. Thank you for noticing and saying so. And what a great transformation YOU have made. Congratulations and keep up the good work.
Hey man your transformation is absolutely amazing! Thanks for giving us newbees something to shoot for. Transformations like yours really inspire me to keep going with my own transformation.
yeah feeling good today... my gym is closed for a remodel this weekend so i am making the most of it and trying to bust out a lot of things i need to do for work so next week will be a bit less stressful...
I use to do Body For Life. Have you read books from Bill's brother Shawn? That guys is ripped as well. I've been doing P90X for 9 months now and am seeing great results. Nice transformation by the way. Keep at it.
