I plan to lift big to gain as much muscle density as i can while cutting down my diet to mostly lean foods. I hope to stay the same general size, or gain a small amount of size and at the same time trim down as much as humanly possible.
I used to be about 230 and I did something about it. I have friends who are heavier than that and are happy to be unhealthy. I respect this guy for caring and I appreciate sharing his spirit for health. Get it done brother, lets get shredded.
This week i have stepped up my training regiment in both volume and intensity. It feels great but it also hurts. But i got to thinking, pain can be a motivator. The intensity your mind has to have to fight through a tough set or the last rep, even the the soreness the day after, is incredible. In...
If ur looking to drop weight 'extremely fast', you're going to lose mass. Aim for a loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week. You're more likely to keep it off going steady and slow. Running doesn't have to curtail adding mass, you just can't over do it and you need to consume enough 'clean' calories to support growth.
That's good to hear that you're getting your family involved. I like that. The kickboxing is really paying off. My punches and form has improved. One of the guys told me that he feels sorry for the guy I punch, lol.
It's going ok. Kinda at a stand still. Trying to get into school and haven't felt like going to the gym. Been going to kickboxing instead. I'm not really feeling the gym where I moved to. Its full of....let's just say I'm not motivated to go to this particular location.
Yea, I love how I can get out so much aggression from the day. Its awesome. It really does help with my flexibility seeing as how I need alot of work in that area. If you ever come to Miami you should try my class.
Yea, I want to know what being my total opposite is like. Besides the fact that I LOVE motorcycles! I feel like I'm kinda stuck so I took up kickboxing. See how it goes. Glad to hear your diet change is working.
It was fun. I did not get in the top 5 so I won't know exactly where I placed until they post the results online. The judge that critiqued me at the end told me I need to develop my muscles more, and hold my smile the whole time on stage.
Actually, I wasn't taking the full 2 scoops it was telling me to take. I actually would use 2/3 scoop and 1 full scoop after workout. But now I have the muscle milk light so maybe that might be better. Thanks for the heads up though. How is your training going?
Hey B,
good luck with everything, im sure you will achieve your goals, even though I dont see where you need room for improvement but hey I know you so you gonna make it do what it do baby lol
