How I Started: I've been overweight for most of my life. In my teen years I wasn't very active. I've never been happy with the way I've looked over the years and it's effected my confidence for ages. Top that off with constant fat jokes and I just had enough. I decided it was time to do something.
Why I Love It: It makes me feel good about myself. I have more energy now then I ever did before.
How I Stay Motivated: The support of friends and family, and this site have really helped keep me on track.

I just thought that I would drop you a line to tell you that my wife, and your friend (bodyspace: judimax) is having a birthday on Saturday April 5th and is turning 48. I think she looks fantastic for not only 48 but for any age, but then again I am biased. If you get a chance she would be surprised (and love it) if you would drop by and wish her a Happy Birthday.

Thank you my snow-shovelling friend. My wife’s brother and his family all live in Edmonton and I was stationed there when I was with the military so I have a good grasp of the city. As a fellow Canadian I just thought that I would drop by and wish you much success in your body transformation quest. Both my wife (bodyspace name: judimax) and I used Body for Life, which is a 12-week program. I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36% bodyfat to 10% and my wife went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6. Always believe in your own inner strength and push yourself to be the best that you can be. I look forward to seeing your progress.
