Ever Since I was a little kid I was always fascinated by the guys in the magazines with the big muscles. I was a skinny scrawny kid and I wanted to have big muscles like they did, lol. I started fooling around with weights when I was a pre-teen and one year my parents bought me a bench with a barbell and some dumbbells, etc. When I was about 14 in grade 8 there was a teacher (who was also a bodybuilder) who was offering a weightlifting/bodybuilding course for credits. I signed up and loved it. I started lifting on my own time and read Arnold's Encyclopedia that my grandma bought me. I was hooked. I started lifting full time. As time went on the teacher and I became friends and a couple years later when I was in high school we were even workout partners for awhile. I still consider him a friend and mentor to this day even though he moved and we rarely get a chance to talk.
Why I Love It:
I love the look and feel. I love the lifestyle and the discipline required to build a quality physique. Bodybuilding not only builds your body but also your character and mind.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing results in my training diary and in the mirror are major motivators. Cute girls working out in the gym helps too ;)
BB Accomplishments:
When I first started training I was a textbook ectomorph. I got a lot of laughs and was mocked by people when they found out I was bodybuilding and determined to build a quality physique. This fueled my desire even more and I stayed totally dedicated. I was always seeking to learn, I trained non-stop and literally had to force feed myself in the beginning and had minimal supplementation. In less than a year and a half I put on about 38lbs. People were amazed at the change in skinny scrawny Truman. The people that once laughed and mocked me were now offering humble praise and were coming to me for advice. After high school I went to University and fell into a depression and suffered with anxiety disorder. I stopped training and never picked it up full time again until sometime in 2006. I never want to stop training again. I'm still not as completely dedicated as I want to be but with motivation and determination I'll get there. I want to get huge!! lol. I am a believer in natural bodybuilding and I have no visions of being the next Mr. Olympia but I want to build a quality physique that I can be proud of.

What is the best type of protein for you?
Whey Isolate
Why is this type of protein best?
I can't say that this type of protein is the best for me as I simply don't know which protein is best for me. I don't think I will know that until I have been bodybuilding consistantly for many years and have really learned how different things affect my body.I can't say that this type of protein is the best for me as I simply don't know which protein is best for me.
