Today I decided to by pass the scale in the upstairs bathroom and just keep going downstairs and use that bathroom. My belly flab looked flatter to me so I did measure and it was. So my point here is I'm sure the scale wasn't going to say what I wanted it to and I would've been pissy...
It still hurts and now I have a sinus infection. I'm going to try to workout, but I'm going to listen to my body and if I feel bad I'll stop or at least take extended breaks between sets. No cardio today. That is awesome Trudee, enjoy! Pizza is my favorite :P.
Yes, I love that song! Heidi love Hannah Montana (well, Miley Cyrus) and so I know some of her music because of that. But yes, The Climb is a good song.
Part 2-
I still use one of Cathe's videos on occasion because she uses heavy barbels and incorporates a lot of the compound moves I do anyway. I'll do one of her videos once every couple weeks (usually for my second legs day).
I actually switched from DVD's to just lifting on my own about a year and a half ago and I primarily just do my own lifting because I can lift heavier and I need to lift heavy in order to stimulate muscle growth. Muscle "burn" isn't the same as muscle fatigue/failure, many get that confused.
You're welcome. I'm still not going to turn into a mega HM fan.....LOL. But Miley Cyrus.....that girl can sing. Hope you're Monday is off to a great start. :-)
Right now I'm staying the same (I think). At least my weight hasn't changed. I think right now I'm having a hard time taking that next step which is to increase calories. I know what I want, but I'm having a hard time stepping outside my comfort zone.
That's wonderful! I think if you can run a half marathon than you can definitely do the full. Just takes a little more training, both physically and mentally. Keep up the great work and have a fantastic day!
Hooks look like this http://es.ucables.com/img/pics 1/WEIGHT-LIFTING-HOOKS-R63374. jpg and are used when grip becomes a limiting factor in a lift, or to take grip out of a lift. I use them for deadlifts but you can use them for just about any pulling exercise
