I have 6 weeks until our first match at AG which is a known school for wrestling i have to beat of a pretty decent kid to start but if i get down to 189 im gonna be a big 189 and strong for the class my goal is to try to make it to states I need all the tips i can get bad or good im...
its all about die bro ..not your workout.. when dieting down you sould always keep your training style the same... that way you ont lose any muscle.. its all about calories!!!
since wrestling isnt for another few months, you should start cutting fat. cut back on fats. start taking in good fats like nuts or fish. eat 6-8 small meals a day. it keeps your metabolism going. your last meal(when your hungry late at night), eat a few fruits and take a protein shake. preferably casein. dieting is the best way to cut weight off season.
Thanks buddy. No need for anything fancy training-wise. My workout is purely for bodybuilding and for guys who’ve been at it for a long time. Your body is new to lifting so as long as you train hard with basic exercises and stay consistent, you’ll make very good gains. Heavy squats, benches, and dead lifts - those 3 lifts will give you more overall size and strength than anything. That was all I did my first couple years of high school, 3 workouts per week, and I made awesome gains.
wel you i look bigger when i'm light because my waist gets smaller .. giving the Illusion that i'm bigger... as for getting bigger, i dont care how heavy your lifting it comes down to how you FEED the muscles.. you look like how you eat.. thats what it comes down to .. not reps.
is it workin? if it is then stick with it, if not change it up... but remember that protein is not the only thig you need to be takin in... if your active carbs, along with some fat, should be your bast friend... thats what gives you size.
