I've been working out since I was 10. Not weightlifting but running, pushups, and situps. I started lifting when I was 17.

WHY I LOVE IT:

akmark Haha that's not insulting.. I've been eating on a cal deficit, so my strength gains are minimal. This whole gain-muscle&lose-fat thing is pretty much BS unless you get lucky or really know what you're doing(gain muscle = more cal, lose fat = less cal), so I've been trying to keep what little muscle I have while losing fat. I can't wait to start eating more next quarter so I can get strong again. Feb 18, 2010 3:36pm

Ryanb850 try to space out your squat and deadlift by a at least a day or two. Those are two of the most important lifts and you don't want to sacrifice one for the other by doing them on the same day. Feb 17, 2010 8:33pm

akmark Yo man, I admire your determination with how many exercise you're doing in your workouts, but I definitely think it's overkill. That's how guys get burned out quickly. Ryanb850 Nice workout yesterday. I wouldn't superset lunges w/ squats because squats are a key exercise and you want to be the most fresh when you do those to maximize gains. Also I've been doing barbell shrugs lately and I really like them. just thought id throw that out there. Feb 5, 2010 6:19pm
