How I Started:
My father had an old set of weights laying around, now of course, I was on the 'lose weight' with only cardio kick until he told me that building muscle was a key in burning extra calories. I was worried about getting "too buff" and not 'cut down' as I wanted to look, and he instructed me it takes tons of work to get 'too buff', something I've found out over my current 3 year travel with bodybuilding.
Why I Love It:
Nothing is better than the energy release, stress release, general health and goal driven mindset that accompanies staying in shape and having something to be proud of.
How I Stay Motivated:
I am very focused on my goals, although they can never come soon enough. I started as a compulsive supplement buyer for the 'fast results' and through time, training and the bodybuilding forum have realized it's more about your training and diet than it is about overloading supplements. New things to look forward to in my development is what keeps me motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
From going from a twiggy highschool student, to a super overweight college kid to an in-shape athetic build is my greatest accomplishment.

I could still use a solid program, but for what I've learned on my own I'm doing pretty well. I do weight-training Monday, Wednesday and Friday...and if I can fit in 30 min. cardio sessions I do so over the weekends, tuesday and thursday.
