When I first started to lose weight I began walking around the track behind our house for an hour a few days a week for as far as I could go in that amount of time. I started setting goal and after a few months my "few days a week" became every day", and my "as far as I could go" became three miles. I dropped a lot of weight and thats when I started to pick up my weights. I loved it and soon found myself lifting three or four times a week.
Why I Love It:
Basically because it is addicting. LoL I love the way I feel pushing through a tough workout and I love the way I feel after I finish one. You really feel like you have done something with you day.
How I Stay Motivated:
I set lots of small goals along with big ones, and it feels like I am constantly making progress. I remind myself of what I am working toward and why it is important to me. It really helps me to stay focused.
BB Accomplishments:
I dropped 100lbs and could actually do 50 sit ups with getting winded. ( I know 50 isn't a lot but at the time it might as well been 1000.) lol

Goal (Long):
I put on weight in the third grade and been failing at health ever since then. My self esteem and confidence took a hit and has never really recovered. I would like to get my body fat percent down to 10% and bulk up my chest, shoulders, and arms. My goal is May 2010.
I think it is encouraging from time to time to remember why we are on this journey of transformation. We all have days that we are down about our progress or having to take time off of training. Right now I am having to take time off because I have had surgery myself. I am extremely happy with...
