Its the best way in my opinion. I used to just try to gain as much as possible, but gained a lot of fat too, and not much strength. Your sure your gains are lean when you bulk up slower. I'm stronger now than I was at 185 a year ago. Measurements are just as big too.

I have only gain like 6 or so pounds in the last 3 months. Mostly just training strength wise and trying to stay lean. I was about 173-175 last time I weighed myself in the morning.
