How I Started:
I started in 1996. I had a son in 1999 and after his birth I began desiring to compete. I failed in dieting many times for many years but finally competed in June 2008.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it helps me to stay disciplined in my every day responsibilities and it keeps me organized. With God, I have the power to change myself and my circumstances.
How I Stay Motivated:
I work on my goals everyday so I don't have any time to be unmotivated. I have vision boards posted on my bedroom walls that remind me of what I have and still need to accomplish.
BB Accomplishments:
Finally going on stage then placing third in my first competition. But mostly finishing what I start.

My overall goal is to weigh 145 lbs by October and compete consistently.
Goal (Long):
I have competed in the past and did very well. After my first competition I put the weight back on and was unable to gain the momentum again to put in the amount of work it took for me to look like a competitor again. I want to compete at least three times per year and stay within 5 to 10 lbs of my competition weight. I want to have a consistent diet of healthy food and be happy with that. My goal is to be extremely cut and healthy. I want to be able to run for 30 minutes straight at 7.0 mph if I so desire.
I completed my second weigh in today and i've lost a little over 7 lbs. I am very happy about that today. I worked out early today, one hour of weights and 30 minute cardio. I worked shoulders, triceps, and abs. Got on the Elliptical today for the first time in a while. I normally think...
