I noticed when I got home from work yesterday that I was disappointed with myself. I can't believe how bad my cardiovascular state is as at the moment. I thought for sure I would compensate for my less-than-stellar cardio session with something a little more steady paced and fun (that didn't feel like cardio) - Brazilian Butt Lift DVD... Didn't happen. Instead, I had a "modified Southern" dinner (thank goodness it was in my macros) and ended up crashing. So much for... Go to BodyBlog

Today was my first day incorporating "real" cardio into my workout regimen since I decided to get serious about getting back into shape. The verdict: I am WAY out of cardiovascular shape! I decided to "keep it light" since this was my first day back in the saddle, and OMG!!! I managed to squeak out 20 minutes on the Cybex Arc Trainer. The first 13 minutes and 29 seconds, I used the interval program at level 1 and I was sucking wind about 4... Go to BodyBlog

I survived my first day on the fat burner (Hydroxycut Hardcore Elite) with no major hiccups. I was really worried about the side effects I read about, but outside of a little light headed feeling and nausea about 30 minutes after initially taking it (only lasts for 20 minutes) and "Happy Leg Syndrome" (seriously, I was bouncing my knees and/or moving my feet ALL day yesterday), it looks like I will tolerate it well.
