"My short term goal is to get to the gym 5-6 times a week, with some days being 2x training sessions. I want to lose 1-2 lbs per week until I reach my goal."
I had my Mom join a gym with me a few years ago, and during my time there, I met one of the best aerobics/personal trainers ever! Her positive attitude and enthusiasm towards fitness always got me into her classes, and into the gym in general.
Why I Love It:
I love the way I feel, the way I look and the way that working out gives me an escape from the stresses of day to day life!
How I Stay Motivated:
That is always a struggle. Lately, I have used endpoints as goals. At one time it is for this tryout or that tryout or this contest...etc. The hardest times for me to stay motivated, is when I have nothing specific that I am going for (thats when the PB and chocolate come into play! tisk tisk)

Goal (Long):
My long term goals are to:
1. compete in a bikini contest (just for fun)
2. dance professionally for the NFL and/or NBA
3. MAYBE...MAYBE...one day, pursue a career in fitness modeling.
I haven't been so good at checking this thing too often; however, I am just gearing up to get very serious about reaching my goals within the next 12 weeks! This summer (hopefully) will be my best summer YET! I want to gain more lean muscle mass, while melting the fat layer...
You are making great strides in your quest for a better body and I congratulate you on all of your hard work. Challenge yourself and always strive to be the best that you can be and you will be amazed at the results and the speed at which they can occur. Stay strong and focused and believe in your ability to reach your goals. All the best for ’08.
