I want to build lean muscle and become more defined. My husband and I just got back from the NPC Florida State Championships held in Orlando, FL and LOVED it! My favorite areas were the bikini and figure. I am a pretty modest person, so the thought of strutting around almost naked on stage is pretty intimidating...thankfully I have learned that this sport is not a sexual thing by any means! It is a sport that promotes healthy living and a healthy lifestyle, and competition is merely an outlet for all these hard working, dedicated people to show off all the tough work they have done.
Now, I am taking my training AND DIET to the next level, keeping the thought of competing next season in the back of my mind =)

Oil and Vinegar Homemade Salad Dressing Recipe:
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
3/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp of black pepper (MOL to taste)

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
AM: 1/2 Whey Protein with 1 cup ff milk, 1 egg, & 1 slice whole wheat toast
MidAM: Vanilla yogurt with blueberries
Lunch: Salad topped with grilled chicken, 2% cheese, carrots, broccoli, almonds, and a homemade oil & vinegar dressing (see recipes)
MidPM: Banana
Dinner: Tilapia filet seasoned with black pepper and lemon juice, brown rice
Post workout: 1 scoop whey protein with 2 cups ff milk
Drink lots of water and I also drink Gatorade when I need some flavor =) AM: 1/2 Whey Protein with 1 cup ff milk, 1 egg, & 1 slice whole wheat toast

Did my first show in 2000 did the second in 2002. Havent competed since. My own fault let life get in the way. Doing the NC State April 2010 alittle nervous super xcited!! Its been hot as H@LL here too. How is everything with you?
