When I Started:
Aug, 2008
How I Started:
I was a typical runner ectomorph, light and quick but not exactly muscular. I was skinny enough for people to notice and comment on, and at that time in my life it made me self conscious.
Why I Love It:
Because it doesn't matter how much (or little) money you have, what opportunities youve had in life, or what size you were when you started, in the gym everyone is equal...and its up to you and how much effort youre willing to put in.
Also, life's too short to be mediocre, I want to achieve my full potential in every area of my life!
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm motivated 24/7
BB Accomplishments:
In one year,
99% improvement squats
169% improvement deadlift
350% improvement overhead press!
I want to be bigger all round, especially my shoulders and chest, while maintaining my health, energy and speed. My lower body and core strength is good but my upper body is still lacking especially in chest and back development, so I want to catch up in these areas.
He's about the same height and weight as me to begin with, and he has the type of body I aspire to have one day...he's put in the hard yards to get there too.
Been staying away from recording weights, measuring and all that non productive stuff...it can get a bit unhealthy 'forcing' yourself to lift heavier at the expense of form.
100% good form, lighter weights is on the menu now...
