Overall Goal: In offseason mode and have incorporated HMB at 4 grams a day. I thought this supplement was a gimmick but after only a week feel stronger and muscles feel fuller in the gym!!!
Graduated high school and decided I wanted to hit the weights. Graduated at 167 lbs and 24% bodyfat. Eventually decided I wanted to compete in 2001 at the age of 22.
Why I Love It:
It helps keep me grounded and allows me to take out my stress. I love the challenge and being able to watch my body change, espcially around comp time when it changes daily!
How I Stay Motivated:
By competing and now that I am signed by the world's #1 sports supplement company, Optimum Nutrition/ABB, I have no reason to slack off ;-).
BB Accomplishments:
*2001 NPC Battle of Champions: 1st place Novice-MW class
*2001 NPC Battle of Champions: 4th place open -MW class
*2003 NPC Mike Francois Classic: 1st place MW class
*2004 IFBB North American: 2nd place MW class
*2004 NPC Ohio State Bodybuilding Championships-2nd place MW (politics!)
*2005 IFBB North American: 7th place MW Class
*2007 NPC Rochester: 1st place MW Class
*2007 NPC Junior Nationals: 4th place MW Class
*2008 NPC Junior USAs: 10th place LHW Class
*2008 NPC Junior Nationals: 5th place LHW Class (Talk about a turn around in 6 weeks!!!)
*Signed athlete with Optimum Nutrition and American Bodybuilding(ABB)

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
Well honestly...my family life has sufferred greatly for what it takes to compete at the national level. I sacrifice a lot of their time training and prepping for shows.
