Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
Although I train alone a lot, I also rotate workout partners in. My best workouts are when I lift with a fellow competitor who is as motivated as I am.

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
It's fine if you're lifting heavy weight, not OK if your grunting to get attention.
I just read a post on another forum describing a top competitors daily diet for preparing for a contest. Honestly I don't know how this guy maintains a job, as he was eating 14 times a day, and almost all of his meals were whole foods that required preparation, not to mention time to eat them! ...
Four day split done over one week. Thirty minutes (offseason), sixty minutes (precontest) of cardio every morning before breakfast (Treadmill at 12% @ 3.0 mph, or eliptical or stairmaster set for 120 bpm).
That is one impressive competition history and an amazing physique. Don't isten to the haters and just keep doing what you know works for you since it is OBVIOUSLY working! Hope to see you at team U!
