I started college in high school and I needed to fill some PE credits to graduate so I figured a weight lifting class would be an easy way to fill those requirements without actually putting any effort out...and I got addicted.

To put back the 30 or so pounds I've lost over the last few years due to laziness and lack of motivation.
Goal (Long):
Back in college I was a typical gym rat, I put in more hours at the gym than I did in the classroom and I had the body to show for it. Years later I've lost the drive and the motivation and as such I've lost 30lbs of muscle and I've lost a lot of definition. My main goal is to take a step back about 7yrs and refind that guy that got excited to lift and the real desire to live!
How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
It depends on the day and what my body is telling me, if it's a good strong day I'll put a 10-30sec break between sets to catch my breath, let the blood leave my face, swish some water around in my mouth, etc. If it's a slow, sluggish, or generally weak feeling day I'll go without breaks until I break out of that slow mode, if my body really is that drained I'll put a minute or so between sets.It depends on the day and what my body is telling me, if it's a good strong day I'll put a 10-30sec break between sets to catch my breath, let the blood leave my face, swish some water around in my mo...more

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
8x3, 3 sets of 8 reps. I've found it works for me and if it aint broke don't fix it. I'll eventually move up to 5x5 and then 5x3 as weight increases.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
I don't wish to model myself after anyone, I had a body I was proud of at one time and I want that again. I didn't look like anybody in particular, I just looked like a guy in excellent shape that was full of confidence. Why I like this video: Freakin insane...I miss having a clean semi safe playground area you could screw around in like this...can't go through the park without finding bodily fluids, gum, and sharp objects everywhere you look.

I meant shattered physcially!! did a good session in gym!! however my instincts were right my ex Text me at 3am in the morning - its been 2 months no contact and said: "what u up 2 x" WTF!! I dont get it ... oh well TGIF :)

That is really great advice, thank you. I will take that to heart. I actually went out last night and met some really cool new people, it was so much fun. I'm going out with them again tonight, and again on Friday. Life is finally starting to turn around for me :)
