I have always been an active athlete, but when my soccer career came to an end, I chose to pick up weights. I am a hard gainer so I really like the challenge.
Why I Love It:
Okay, I am biting this off of someone on this site but it is so true. Working out doesn't require any special skill or natural ability. It is all about hard work and determination. Your body is the product and shows everyone how much you sacrifice and work. That's why I love it.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing my body change over time. It's pretty amazing because it's all on your own merit. It's also my drug because without it I don't know what I would do.

My ultimate goal would be to weight around 170 lbs with 6-6.5 percent body fat. I may try to compete one day but I need six months to dedicate, which school does not allow right now.

Hey, Thomas, hope you are able to keep up with your workouts. I understand, secondhand, the brutal time commitment of med school. Working out may be all that stands between you and and a meltdown. I wish you good luck and great success.
