Goal (Long):
I feel like I've never really challenged my physical or mental potential. I want know what it's like to apply myself to something that seems so difficult and achieve it. I want to be able to max my PT test with no problems. I want to be able to shop for clothes without frustration. I'm tired of settling for being mediocre. I want to test my limits and surpass them. I've never seemed to be able to follow something through until I complete it. The bigger picture for me is to transform my mind as well.
I see someone who made an original goal to just lose some extra weight, then turned around and became a driven bodybuilder. She started at one level, and said it's time to take up a notch. Despite her busy life with school/work/family, she is truly driven to make it a priority to succeed at her fitness goals and only get better.
Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
Sounds corny but it seems that getting on my bodyspace and connecting with others that are going through the same trails helps me get motivated to get into the gym.
It really sucks to want something so bad, find out how hard it is to get and continue to see fail attempts. I'm just keeping it real. I haven't given up yet. But I realize I have to retrain my brain to think a new way about this. Every workout, every meal , every day my focus is blocked...
I dropped by to see how you are doing and to ask how things are going? I hope that all is well and that your motivation is staying high. If there is ever anything that I can do to be of assistance please feel free to give me a yell.
I would like nothing better than to see you achieve all you dream of on your fitness journey.
What got my wife (bodyspace: judimax) and I in the best shape of our lives was following the 12-week Body for Life program. My wife went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs, going from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks with the BFL program. You will need to challenge yourself to achieve great results but I believe they will be well worth the effort. Let us know if you would like more info.
