How I Started:
I was extremely overweight(by like 90lbs) and body fat percentage was around 40%. I got sick and tire of being the fat kid and decided to do soemthing about it. I started waking up at 4am in the morning before school and working out for an hour. Then I would come home from school and work out an hour. This was late in high school going into college. I eventually lost 100 lbs. I went from 280lbs to 175lbs in a matter of 8 months. Now I am 5+ years into this journey and I am hungry for more!!!!!!
Why I Love It:
I have this theory that there are very few things in life that we have full control over. We may be able to manipulate some things but we never really have full control. In bodybuilding, I feel that I can manipulate so many things(diet, training, rest, ect) and it gives me a greater "sense" of control. Plus there's nothing like the "pump" or there's nothing like that confidience you exude when you really begin to see the fruits of your labor.
How I Stay Motivated:
I remember the "bad times." No girl wanted to touch me. And its a damn shame when you can hardly stand to look at yourself in the mirror everyday. So I carry those battle scars with me everyday for the rest of my life. I have seared those memories into my brain and they serve me well EVERY MEAL, EVERY WORKOUT, EVERY HOUR of EVERY WAKING DAY!!!!

I have essentially set out a 2 year goal and it reads something like. Jan 2011; TheOx777 will be between 225-230 lbs at around 10% body fat. There is a lot of things that go into achieving such an arduous tasks, but I pity a weight, steak, or hour of sleep that doesn't think I'm not gonna bust my ass to get there!!! See you at the finish line!
