I've been overweight my entire life growing up. Morbidly obese for a number of years as well. I got started in May of 2006 when I needed to change myself. I dropped 80 pounds in 8 months then gained a lot of it back. But I'm here in 2008 ready to lose it all again and keep it off this time for good. Never again will I let myself slip again. This is my year and my time to shine.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because you get out of it what you put into it. It's one of the few sports you can do in your life that is truly on your shoulders and yours alone for the results you get out of it. You put in the time and the effort and you are rewarded with anything beyond your expectations. I love the discipline it brings. I love the passion it creates in a person and the determination it takes to truly embrace this lifestyle.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated because I've dropped a lot of weight once and gained most if t back. I hate the feeling of watching all my hard work be for nothing. Since I've had it happen once, I will never let myself slip like that again. The feelings it created were horrible and I never want it to happen again. I'm driven by vengeance to undo what I did now and it'll happen for real this time because I never ever want to go back again.
BB Accomplishments:
I dropped over 85 pounds in 2006 and I want to get that amazing sense of accomplishment back in my life. Having people tell me they didn't recognize me was a truly amazing feelings as was everything else that comes from getting in shape. I want all those feelings back and how I felt at my peak in 2006. I need it back in my life to be happy again because carrying all this extra weight is not fun for me and never has been. I just care enough now to do something about it.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
I don't really have one celebrity I want to emulate. I just want to have solid muscles and be cut. Overall, I'd rather be more cut than huge.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Not a serious injury but I tweaked my back once with improper form on heavy deadlifting and I've sprained my rotator cuff muscles before from using shoulder exercises that my body doesn't like.

What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Every day brings me one day closer to victory. I travel on the road less traveled and reap the rewards of the few who have the perseverance to stick out the journey until the end. Even though I've traveled this road before just two years ago, I feel like the journey this time has been that...
Ugh!
Isn't it so frustrating?
I just want a flat stomach then focus on toning
Like ive lost so much weight everyelse and pretty much nothing in my stomach! it sucks plus im short.. if i was taller i think the fat would be evened out more
Thanks
Youve have some a long way too!
I don't know wth is wrong with me though..
I get around 119.5 ( my lowest weight yet) and then i mess up on my diet!
I think theres a mental block or something its soo annoying!
But this time im going to make sure to keep losing the fat!
What intake were you referring to?
Obviously for today i'm not only eating eggs+bacon I edit the post throughout the day
Im trying to have 5-6 small meals a day including two protein shakes(on days i work out)
and you look really good!
Things are going good. Especially now that I'm over a couple injuries I had and back in full force again. Looks like you're making awesome progress, keep it up man!
Congrats on your weight loss. You don't even look like the same person in your pics (cute in both, though). You should post more! Best of luck in your continued successes. :)
Thank you TNMan. I am doing my best and have lost a few more pounds... Just need to stay focused. Sighs... Mothers Day brings me food to t he table I shouldn't have, so I will be careful.
Hey boss, just thought I'd drop you a line to let you know I'm still in. I've been updating and trying to stick to my diet and routine. But the new job likes to make it a challenge to keep up with. Good thing I've been managing to stay the same and even shed some fat.
Keep it up man. I committed the same mistake before. I lost 60 lbs in 2003 and gained it all back plus maybe 15 lbs more. I felt horrible. Now I lost a total of 150 lbs and I'm trying to maintain. There is no way I'm going to get fat again. I know that wonderful feeling you get when people who know you don't even recognize you! The best feeling!
trying to stay motivated... i was out of the game for about 3 months- happily didnt gain too much or lose too much muscle... my strength dropped but... what can i say... I'm still working towards my 160 goal by May 30. I really hope I hit it :)
Looks like you are almost to your goal too! :) Keep up the good work!
