Background

When I Started: Nov 2010
HOW I STARTED:

I started moderate lifting in high school for sports. I slacked off a lot after high school ('04) when sports ended. I attempted to get fit in '07 when I joined BodySpace. Lost a few pounds and then failed. Now getting to it in 2011, and will not fail. It's time to get fit again and get into shape! Currently 40** lbs less in 2011, while adding muscle mass.

WHY I LOVE IT:

It makes my body feel better, makes me more confident, and continues a healthy lifestyle.

Who I Am (2011); a blurb of change.

After I made up my mind that I was going to run a marathon and change my habits in the end of 2010, I know I needed to stick with it. I ran all the time and ended up getting bored. I knew I needed to focus more on weight training and have a plan that I could stick with.


In roughly February 2011, I got my 3 month free membership to 24 Hour Fitness. I started utilizing that and the garage gym like never before. I was already pretty set in my ways of working out and being motivated due to the last several months of running on a daily basis

In 2010, specifically speaking of the end of the year (holiday season) was the time that changed my life. I was extremely unhappy with my body and I was not happy where it was going. I was eating extremely unhealthy and eating way to large of meals, overstuffing myself. I would eat anything and everything, fast food and other greasy fried foods on a regular basis. Who I Was (2007); a blurb of failure.

In 2007, I was happy with my life but not with my body. This happened to be a few years after high school and I was doing all those things that I needed to do to get my life moving as an adult. I did not go to a University so that I could keep working to pay bills while here in Colorado. I was working a lot and going to college full time. I went from a few different jobs in the meantime as I was trying to find a better paying job and a career I wanted to pursue.
