How I Started:
At 24, 210lbs and over 6 years out of shape, I made the conscious decision to put in the effort and begin living a healthy lifestyle. Part of that lifestyle meant taking care of my body and hitting the gym. And so I did. Six months, 36lbs, a shirt size and 2 pant sizes later, I could not be more satisfied.
Why I Love It:
Because working out is worth it. The results you can achieve through working out and eating healthy are priceless. What's not to love about that?
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by reminding myself why I am living this lifestyle now. When I don't feel like hitting the gym or the thought of cheating on my diet creeps up (which it always does), I remind myself of how much better I will feel if I DO go to the gym or say no to the urge of cheating.
BB Accomplishments:
My biggest accomplishment to date is losing 36lbs and reshaping my body all on my own. I am now working with a trainer to take my workouts to the next level but to get where I am now by myself will always be the highlight of my switch to a healthy lifestyle.
