This was taken about 3 months after football ended. I was lifting, but not very consistantly (still tired from football).
The lats are definitely showing some growth and the rest of my back is becoming more defined. I've also lost some fat. :o]
What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
Hunter-gatherer diet. Lots of protein, dairy, fruits and vegetables. I do not limit my fat and I've found this to be instrumental in adding muscle. I limit simple carbs (like bread) to breakfast and post-workout to use the insulin spike to my advantage. I don't believe in dirty bulking, but I also don't believe in never having pizza again. I eat whey protein shakes post-workout and muscle milk before I go to bed. When I first started eating this way, I had my body fat monitored. The percentage continually dropped, yet I was still able to pack on lean muscle, something I hadn't been able to do on a low-fat diet. I ate beef almost every day, so the extra l-carnitine certainly didn't hurt, either. Every person is different and you have to find what works for you. Experiment, play around and don't take what people tell you as absolute truth. You have to find that for yourself.Hunter-gatherer diet. Lots of protein, dairy, fruits and vegetables. What forearm workout has worked best for you?
Changing up my grip when I workout. I grip things with my thumb on the same side as my fingers. Makes the exercises more challenging. I use a regular grip on skull crushers and bench press if I don't have a spotter. I don't need any more brain damage.Changing up my grip when I workout. What chest workout has worked best for you?
Football again. Dropped balls = pushups for the team. After doing 20-80 in full gear a couple times a week, we all got pretty good at them. Especially without gear.
There's nothing quite like a little pudging out to get back on the workout wagon. I've been thinking about why I frequently take extended vacations from working out. Well, turns out that they all coincide my SAD flareups. Good to finally recognize when and why. That doesn't mean it won't...

Hey girl! I know you have not updated your page in a while, but I wanted to know how training has been treating you. Your September pictures look great! Good luck to you in the New Year!
Good lord you're looking good. Not sure if its the tan or whats the deal! That blog you wrote up had something to do with the word "disgusting" or something... I think you're smokin that sh*t! Great work!
Great Job Jess, the hard work will all pay off and before you know it the 19 pounds will eventually slide in. Trust me Ive been at this for 10 years starting at 138 pounds of half muscle and half fat! Keep it up!
lol its true that movies can be very motivating. For me it's when I watch Rocky working out before his fight with the music in the background..always want to go train after that. anyway good luck with your goals and getting that six pack back :)
