How I Started:
Why I Love It:
I swim the 50 and 100 Free event's for my school in California and being able to have the endurance and stamina to be able to push through hard workouts feels great!
I used to be at a comfortable weight of 103 pounds. This summer changed when I began to over indulge on foods which are very healthy for you but contain a great amount of fat which of course will add extra pounds (which it did!) to the human body.
The last time I was weighed I cried in realizing I had a lot of work ahead of me to redeem myself for letting go of all the hard work I put into my body over the past year.
I am a competitive swimmer in college and doing the 50 free and 100 free sprinting events requires me to be slender and light as I need to be able to literally fly in the water. If I can get back down to 103 pounds I will be very satisfied!
What type of person at your gym annoys you the most? Why?
The Phone talker. If you can talk on the phone while you're supposed to be haulin' ass you're not working hard enough!

What leg workout has worked best for you?
The squat. Take two dumbbells hold them in front of you, close to chest and squat. Boy does that burn feel good!

What supplements do you take immediately after your workout? Why?
L-Glutamine, BCAA, ZMA, and Whey Protein all blended together to make the best smoothie ever! It is important to re-fuel your body after beating it up during intense exercise. These supplements help aid whatever muscle fibers were broken down during exercise by refueling them properly and efficiently so that I can get the most out of the workouts both internally and externally.L-Glutamine, BCAA, ZMA, and Whey Protein all blended together to make the best smoothie ever! See, its not my fault! They are always getting in the way and smelling like old cheese and mothballs....we should just built some sort of holding cell and round them all up....
You're lucky to have a fun sport like surfing to keep you in shape. Have fun and get ripped. Sounds win-win to me! Your buoy idea in the pool sounds like a nice change of pace for me... think I might try that this weekend! Thank you!
I ride a 6'6 Flexfire, its tough being tall and heavy to find a fast enough board. I am destined to ride a mal once i get old and fat, so i might give up and get one next. What do you ride?
I had a super awesome week! Had a little three day weekend, yesterday was my first day back. Never wakeboarded?!? You'll love it. Why are you going back to New York?
