Why? What are the pros and cons of working out there?
Because I don't have all the equipment at my home, the pros are that it is fairly cheap, I can get help, and it has good energy. What should look for in a gym? What should you avoid?
Look for good quality equipment, knowledgable staff, and clean facilities. Avoid out of date or poorly maintained equipment, or lack of equipment.

Do you track your workouts (exercises, weight, reps, etc.)?
Yes
If so, how do you do it? Workout log, software program, etc.? Why do you do it this way?
Just a simple log so I lknow how I'm doing. Simple, really.
I've noticed that my level of happiness seems to correspond with my weight. The less I weigh, the happier I am. Today, I stepped on the scale and weighed in at 129.63...and was thrilled. Apparently, being sick off my ass for 6 days took 8 pounds off me.
