I took a long look in the mirror at Christmas and was not pleased with what I saw. I gasped out loud ... what happened to me? Then I sobbed.
So, I studied the ebook Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle and got inspired to fix both my nutrition and my exercise regime.
Why I Love It:
I love feeling strong. I love beating what I thought was my personal best. I love when I get 'in the zone' and everything around me just falls away.
How I Stay Motivated:
Look in the mirror. Look in the closet.
Look at photos: older ones for happy motivation (see, you've looked good before) or more recent (stop your crying, you put yourself there so get off your backside and get moving!).
BB Accomplishments:
are yet to come.

I feel like a dork and none too proud. A few weeks ago I decided that enough was enough and my body is begging for change.
The pinch says it all. I used to be proud of my back.
I want to be lean & muscular and weigh 132lbs by this summer
I want to feel confident and be comfortable in my body -- to be strong, look sexy and live a healthy life.
Ate fairly well yesterday and today although will go back to recording everything for a few days to see if I'm on the right track. Think yesterday I only had about 1000 cals which is definitely too low. Finally broke down and made gingersnaps, ate some gave rest to neighbor (that was a...
Thanks for posting and sorry it took me so long to post back. i'm still learning how the posting thing works. I've posted recent pics and i want to hear from people how've done what i'm about to do as well as those who just like to lift and look and feel great. Thanks again!
Hey! How's the training and nutrition going? I'm actually down a few pounds, but I think I've added a lot of muscle. Just keep going!!! Happy St. Patty's and Easter to you!
It's working great! This past week has been awesome!
I'd like to invite you to take a closer look at the business.

I posted a new thread re muscle memory, so perhaps we'll see if there is some truth to this idea. It'd be nice to think we have a lil' advantage to getting back in shape!
the Buddy Lee jumprope uses a swivel bearing that prevents the rope from torque'ing on itself. It prevents twists and allows for very fast jumping. He's got some cheaper versions that use the same technology too. i'd say a normal jump rope is good enough for the average jumper, but if you love jumping and want to get better there is no substitute.
Thank you for your comments :)I haven't built the bench yet. That is going to take some time. I might be getting another bench from a friend though so if I get that one I won't build one. I'm sure you'll stick with your plan and reach your goals in no time :)
Thanks for your comment. This is definately a great way to stay motivated. I haven't worked out for a few days now, just wanted my back to heal so I think I'll do something light today. I wanted to become an esthitician, there is a real need for it in my own, the nearest one is an hour away! Good luck with trimming off that weight, you look great in your pic!
Thanks for your compliment :) If you look at my favorite food on my profile page you'll see almost everything that I eat daily.
I'm sure you'll persevere in your fitness goals.
It's not snowing here, it only snowed for a couple of days and now it's getting warm, almost like spring :) I can't wait until it's warm enough to go without a jacket. Won't be long now.
Hiya sweetie, nice to hear from you. Yeah I'm all good thanks, have to say though that it knocked me back a bit & threw all my diet & training out of order as it's taken me a good week to get things back on track, so the whole thing has taken 2 weeks out of the plan. My training is going well & my diet is too now. So how are things with you? Are you on schedule?
Julia,
Thank you for the encouraging comments...I sincerely appreciate them and the fact that you took time to look at my space and blog. I enjoyed reading your blog! The friend I made in Jamaica is also a Canadian... she inspired me to change my life....hate to tell you guys, but it was sunny and 75 degrees here today! Take care and thanks again. thank god there's always tomorrow! I'm looking into getting a college level sports nutrition textbook (I took a few classes in college), as I find the more I learn about the science the more I want to eat right and not just diet or lose weight.
