I got Terrel Owen's " Finding Fitness and it has sparked me to restart and not stop on my quest. I also read Muscle and Fitness and that has helped a lot. I'm the off and on diet guy. I have been on this journey for long time. I hope that this is the final go towards a new me. I have been fat since age 11. I was a fat pre-teen, fat teen, and now fat adult.
This is what I do or did:
Until I started Tabata I did cardio after weight trainning to help drop body fat. I also trained each muscle group twice a week. I read that doing this ramps matabolism to burn fat. You need recovery but I did high reps with moderate weight. 3 sets of 12 most of the time. I also changed my diet big time. I eat lean meats, fruit, veggies, and slow digesting carbs most of the day. I eat fast digesting zero fat zero fiber carbs with whey post workout only.
Why I Love It:
I like the feel of the "pump". I also like seeing results.
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of how bad my body looks, and how out of shape I am. I must keep pushing to stay away from my old self of not finishing my fitness goals.
BB Accomplishments:
Dropping 120 lbs in 7 months with good eating and working out.

Me in 2005. I don't know what my weight was in this pic. I think I started and failed another diet shortly after. Look, I'm sitting on my butt playing xbox. This is part of the reason why I got so heavy in the first place. My shirt won't even stay down in the back.
Love handles are looking a little better. Lots of work left to do. I'm about 222lbs to 225lbs in this shot.
She is a true inspiration. When I first came to BB.com I looked at your transformation, and I said to myself that I could loose the weight if I worked hard.
I'm not a fan of leg day. I know I need it. My legs have gotten a lot stronger since January 09. My knees are the big beneficiary of this also. 95% of the time my knees feel great. I can't wait to go play Basketball to try out my new wheels. The last time I played basketball I...
Thanks man. I posted that picture because many on this site get a little to hung up on fitness. Being fit is one aspect to living life and my all know that life has many aspects.
I know you have lost quite a bit, TT! You are an inspiration to me! There is a guy on here with a very impactful story and he has gone through surgeries and bulking stages. I'll get you the name next comment :)
Yo Toast, I got a question. In your fit status you talk about your workout being "1-100's" What is that exactly? I'm doing 10 sets of 10 reps using the same weight (although I will increase the weight for the last three sets if it is too easy). Please let me know when you get a chance and congrats on losing the 120#. You should be on the front page of BodySpace as an inspiration.
Gotta follow doctors orders. Glad you taking good care of yourself. No worries, you'll be back in action soon. Plus look at all the muscle you get to sculpt while maintaining.
Tex you are Keeping it 100... I'm focused to stay the course as well. Can't let myself down or those who I inspire. Keep the faith bro and stay strong. BBTI...Bonded by the iron.
TT man, I've actually been slacking a bit lately. Just flat out loosing focus, but I'm getting back in the groove now! How are you? I saw you posted a slight weight increase, you're not letting that get to you are you? I sure as hell hope not! You're a beast and don't forget it!
