When I Started:
Jan, 2006
How I Started:
I was a chunky guy at age 20. I began running mile after mile to drop unwanted flab, then upon noticing results, I become an avid gym-goer. I now have a workout partner who is much bigger and stronger than I am who challenges me and pushes me toward my goals.
Why I Love It:
I get a crazy rush from achieving a good pump in the gym. Life offers plenty of stresses, so I go blow off some steam in the gym. It's therapeutic in a way. I also love making progress and I'm enjoying my journey to building mass and maintaining a healthy lifestyle!
How I Stay Motivated:
Past progress motivates me to press toward future gain. I'd be lying to say that I've even gotten near my goals, but I've come a long way and the thought of sitting in neutral is a painful one. I want to press forward and make HUGE gains in mass and definition!
Sagging pouches over the pecs, layer of meat over the abs. Blank canvas. Time to paint. I've given lots of time and energy to training others, but in doing so, I've taken some focus off of myself. COUNTER-PRODUCTIVE. It all changes NOW. Progress pics coming weekly until April ends. Stay tuned folks!
After one week of close attention to nutrition and fairly disciplined workouts, I've seen the abdomen trim up a bit. love handles fading, obliques firming and an overall enhancement in toning. I could have given a better effort in the gym this week, honestly. Next week, I'm going at the weights much ...

Goal (Long):
From February 1 to April 31, I will be following a very structured nutrition program accompanied with an exercise regimen I've created for myself. Checkout weekly progress pics and read about my nutrition/supplementation & exercise schedule as i embark on the journey.
As you've seen (if you've taken a look at my profile page), I've titled my bodyspace "A Work In Progress". This post is aptly titled after that. I'm now a senior in college and I've been hard at work trying to knock off fat and build muscle mass since i was a sophomore. Within the...
hey Terry, thanks for the add and keep up the great work. You have made some great progress. Thanks for the very nice words of encouragement as well. Doing my best to "change the world...one person at a time." Check us out at www.rlfc.org if you get a chance.
That's cool. I can use the motivation! I took some new progress pics yesterday. check'em out. This is where it starts. I hope to have huge improvement in my next progress pics.
Awesome goal man...Supplementation is important..make sure you are taking your glutamine, creatine, amino acids, vitamins etc...Train hard and eat right and get your Pro card man!!
As much as I was looking forward to seeing The Wolf, Freeman was unbelievable and placed after Wolf. The Olympia is okay, glad Dex won, but the Arnold in my opinion is the best show for "all" bodybuilders.
All I know is that I'm pissed that Silvio Samuel took 7th...?! Seriously, the guy was more ripped than possibly anyone I've ever seen. So what if he is 25 pounds lighter, he's freakin' insane! But Cutler in my opinion didn't even deserve 2nd. It should have been between Phil Heath and Dexter. And Tony Freeman got screwed, too.
I'm pulling for the Big Bad Wolf, bro! I think he's going to tear it up this year. Cutler is going to have come in dry as hell because everyone and their mother knows that Victor had it in the bag last year. Dexter will be shredded to no other with a few more pounds added to his frame, but I don't think he can hang with the BIG guys. I put him in 3rd. I'd really like to see Silvio Samuel break the top 5 though.
ay man whats good? been training hard i hope - u look amazin in ur picture, great chest, arms, shoulders, adonis belt, pierced ear an looks like the weights heavy wit pain in the face lol - great stuff, keep that up.
Thanks for the add. I became certified as a personal trainer taking undergraduate exercise science, exercise physiology and kinesiology class in college;then took an online course with ISSA,attended a weekend seminar in Houston,TX where I took the test, passed the test and was granted my certification as a fitness trainer. It is something satisfying and rewarding. I would suggest ISSA because they have soo much science of exercise, diet and rest. Good luck. Glenn
