How I Started:
I've always wanted to get in better shape and began working out at the college gym. Since then, I've been hooked but making slow gains.
Why I Love It:
Knowing I'm getting healthier and stronger as I have entered my 30s and (gasp) edging closer to my 40s instead of declining strength and health.
How I Stay Motivated:
After a few days off, I feel the need for iron lifted above me, the comraderie of fellow lifters, going to a chiropractor who works out at the same gym helps -- and I'm paying a monthly fee for the priviledge!
BB Accomplishments:
gaining 8 lbs of muscle in one calendar year after working out and reducing bodyfat.

I was working out some at home with only dumbbells. Distractions and little motivation were reasons I didn't work out much. Taken after Mother's Day Feast.

Goal (Long):
I want to move the bottom weight of the scale 1 spot to the right. I want to gain 10-15# of quality muscle before summer (June) 08. When I gain that weight, I will post another picture.
What is the most common reason that somebody gets injured while lifting?
Lifting too much weight with bad form and/or poor spotters.

What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
While lifting at the incline bench, i set the bar down to readjust my grip. My spotter thought I was finished and left. When I picked it up again, I felt a sharp pain in my left shoulder and neck area. I used IcyHot the rest of the week and the pain was better by the next week although some pain would well up while it rained for a few days. When I finally went to the doctor, he said I probably fractured the first rib but after such a long time, there wasn't much to do about it except prescribe some pain meds. Uni has it’s times LOL! Yep, I train 3x a week, unless assignments require more time. Yeah, gym is a one good stress relief. Oh true, your pics are ripped. Congrats man, hopefully in the holidays I can concentrate on the training more.

No shredding for me bro, not even close. This year, I’ve gained 10 KGs which is mostly fat; because uni has been hectic. Most of my time has been spent on study rather than training, as you can see, I’ve got no new progress pics.
