Made the decision one day..that losing weight was not enough. I want to be in the best physical shape of my life.
I was morbidly obese back in April, 2006. I made the decision to have lapband surgery (WLS) and took off with my exercise journey a week post operatively. Since then, I've held steady on my exercise and have really grown to love it more than I ever have. I figure..."Hey, why stop at just losing weight? Why not go for the gold?"
Why I Love It:
Makes me feel whole and complete. I feel a sense of accomplishment when I'm in some sort of pain or soreness from a good lift or workout session.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by seeing results. I motivate and am countermotivated by my peers. It feels good.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 125lbs of fat. From being 240lbs to 111lbs and being lean...is an amazing accomplishment.

This photo is taken of me today by my webcam. I am down from 240lbs to 119lbs. I've had Lapband Surgery in 2006, Tummy Tuck, Breast Augmentation and have been working out like crazy to get my skin tightened up. I am looking to take my body to the next level.
I don't know what it is about running that makes me feel free. It is not competitive. It's free from that.
I feel things that I'd like to try and put into words.
My heart races within me, fighting to beat through my chest. Beads drip down my neck. My eyes blinded by my own sweat. I feel free...
Definitely one of the best transformations! Lookin awesome. I think you're gonna do really well with a Figure comp, and you'll definitely have a blast doin it!
OMG. You are at my goal weight. I am in awe at how you have literally cut your weight in half. I know you have had some surgeries, but I still think your body is an accurate idea of how I want to look when I hit 119.
One of the most incredible transformations I've ever seen - you rock girl! Thanks for accepting my request to be a Bodyspace friend & keep up the good work!
