Overall Goal: Build muscle and maintain the fitness and physique, there is no such thing as middle age spread! :o)
Fit Status:

When I Started:

How I Started:
I did a PT course to get out of IT, as I had always been interested in this area. I've used a gym for most of the last 15 yrs but didn't really know what i was doing until I did the course and I loved it!
Why I Love It:
I love the changes you see and feel and can take a days frustrations out when you get to the gym, instead of everyone when you get home!
How I Stay Motivated:
There is no way I'm going to be fat, unfit and forty (next year) I will not become one of those mumsy people with an excuse for bad health and being unfit, there is no excuse!

Goal (Long):
I got down to a bodyfat level I loved.. however, not something that was healthy to maintain. BUT I know I can do it.
I believe I can compete next year but need to find some comps to go to before, so I can see what they're like.
Then go for it! :o)
4 sets, 1st set lighter weight for a warm up set.
12 reps, once I can do 12 reps ok, for 3 sets. I up the weight so I can 8ish for 3 sets. I'll do this now, for around 4 to 6 weeks, then change the set and rep range to do strenght training for 2 or 3 weeks then up the reps and sets drop the weight for another 2 or 3 weeks and then back to the 4 x 12. So I'm periodizing what I do and my muscles get a good all round work out for endurance to strength.4 sets, 1st set lighter weight for a warm up set.

How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
At the moment I rest around 1 min, it 'feels' about right, I've recovered enough to lift again and I like the feeling that it's quite intense.
If the weights are heavier ie strength training I'd have a longer rest, around 3 to 5 mins. The reverse if I was endurance training.. around 30 secs.At the moment I rest around 1 min, it 'feels' about right, I've recovered enough to lift again and I like the feeling that it's quite intense.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
I guess Madonna. If I had to choose.. extremely supple and that's one area I really have to work on. Great tone and muscles but I (though I know a lot don't think so) think she is still femine with it.I guess Madonna. Summer is almost over so now should be the time I'm looking forward to putting on some muscle, the gym will be cooler (we have no air con and it gets over 30 in there) and I can get some good training sessions in.
However, I have a ringing in my ear (tho not tinnitus) and a 'crackle' in the...
I thank you for your wonderful reply. I am honored to receive such amazing words and they mean more to me than you may ever know. I believe that you have a very artistic side to you as I really see that with your pose using the tree in the background. Very nice touch. Keep up the great work.
I want to say that you look amazing! You have the body that so many women want but are not willing to put the effort into developing. I compliment you on your dedication and determination. You are a fantastic inspiration to others at a time when it's needed most. Stay strong, focused and determined and may God bless.
