How I Started:
my friend kevin and i didn't know what direction we wanted to take in life. High school was boring and we skipped class alot, i got kicked out and sent to a work and learn program where i decided to spend my time lifting instead of working.. and i'll tell ya, i was getting a lot more out of this work system than anyone else that was there! i got myself the encyclpedia of modern bodybuilding, and i was hooked!, i live eat and breath bodybuilding now.
Why I Love It:
the best part about bodybuilding is being able to feel, as well as see the results. there is nothing more satisfying to me that seeing my biceps pumped up half an inch more than they were walking into the gym!
How I Stay Motivated:
i see that only a fraction of the population has the will power to keep pushing, and even less have the drive and focus to give it all they got to reach for the top. I am one with a hell of a good idea where the top is, i just gotta put my all into reaching it

Goal (Long):
i currently am floating around 225, have competed a # of times in the BCABBA, won the juniors and placed well as a light heavyweight, I also have to deal with the fact that i have diabetes, so cutting phases always are a little extra joy for me and my diet. but ultimately, i want to get Fit so i can be in wicked shape for this winter.
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
i have several people i train with on and off
i help train my father 2 times a week so helping him, he always is good motivation for me
and i train on and off with a WHL hockey player who is full of positivity and a MMA fighter as well.

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
fine by me, as long as there not doing it for show
ok, 12 weeks out from the western canadian natural bodybuilding championships!, i am floating around 245 for weight, and already been dieting for 2 weeks.. well.. been eating cleaner... but my body is responding quickly!, i can see the abs and tear drop in my quads starting to pop...
Welcome and with that motivation, even with those 4 candy bars now and then, you'll reach your goals and be ready to raise those arms many more times. Keep an eye on your progress. Andre
