Overall Goal: I am now a part of TEAM NORTON! Working with trainer, Layne Norton to bring my upper body up and overall bodyfat down for my ad campaign and shoots! So far so good!
Fit Status:
Just shot the cover of Human Performance Magazine and an ad for VPX's Clenbutrx Hardcore!
My first job was as an aerobics instructor when I was 16. After my classes, I would admire the guys pumping iron in the free weight area.. so I wandered into the weight room and learned to lift OLD SCHOOL style with the boys: Deadlifts, power cleans, free squats....and yes I wore the big brown belt and gloves! LOL. Today-- my workout style varies according to my goal. Currently, I am working with trainer, LAYNE NORTON in a power/hypertrophy style of training to increase my strength and upper body development. I am loving my new workouts!
Why I Love It:
Because it makes me feel like such a bad ass when I'm throwing around those 45s! Cardio, however is another animal. I HATE it completely. Unfortunately, for me...it is DO or be a little chunky Italian chic like the rest of my family. I have a love/hate relationship with my legs. When I'm in shape, they are my biggest compliment getters. When I'm noshing on forbidden foods and skipping the cardio...they morph into little short stumps!
How I Stay Motivated:
I am booked for ongoing spokesmodeling jobs and photoshoots throughout the year. Showing up out of shape is not an option! I also front a rock/dance band in my area so I need to be "stage" ready most of the time. I will admit, it is VERY hard trying to maintain a lean physique while being in a band. The "rock-n-roll" lifestyle and clean dieting doesn't mix too well. LOL
BB Accomplishments:
12th place out of 60 girls in the FAME Fitness Model Universe 2003 ( my only show I've done so far.)
Multiple magazine appearances in American Curves Magazine and Muscle Mag International.
Currently a spokesmodel for Bodybuilding.com and the face of VPX's Clenbutrx Hardcore. Look for me in the 2010 ads!

Goal (Long):
I am really working hard to add muscle to my back, shoulders, and arms this year. Working with Layne Norton is refreshing to say the least! He really knows how to blow "bodybuilding myths" out of the water!
In the long run...
I tend to have overly muscular thighs compared to my upper body. I would actually like to LOSE size in my legs. They are over developed from years of competitive roller skating!
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 3 lb

Yes
Which supplements do you take? When do you take them?
I can only use mild energy drinks, as my tolerance to stims is LOW. They will induce panic attacks at times so I use sparingly! What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
I get bored easily so I have to change it DAILY! I like the stepmill best though.
Ok-- so here we are into 2008 with our Christmas bellies and larger hips for the New Year! LOL..Oh, maybe I am only speaking for myself! I was recently informed that I will be working the Bodybuilding.com booth again at the Arnold 2008. Time to get my butt in gear! So, in prep...I am embarking...
