afrosamurai04 I feel you on the arm pain. Yeah, my knee is still kinda a bit** and I haven't done legs for almost two weeks now and just upper body, so kinda the opposite of you in a way haha. I'm hoping it heals up by the end of the month! Glad your bulk's going well, I definitely kinda screwed up my diet this past week since it was spring break and I was at DC with my dad and we ate out like every other day; gained maybe like 1-1.5 lbs so not too bad I guess Mar 18, 2013 3:32pm

afrosamurai04 I finally quit being a lazy-ass and started adding some abs too but it'll be a while until my abs transform from a sexy one-pack to a six pack haha. I've been pretty "lax" with my diet, but on my last weigh-in, it's safe to say I'm under 180 which is good! I think I'm maybe around 175lbs now and I plan to get down to 160 and slowly work my way up again instead of doing a huge fulk from like 140-170 in 3 months lol; in a way though, I think I needed that fulk anyway. afrosamurai04 Hey bro, I haven't been on BB.com in forever! Everything's going well though with me; I effed up my knee from basketball (it's always gotta be basketball and not running where I screw my knee up as weird as that sounds!) but that's slowly getting better so hopefully I can get back to some squats. My lower back's like 80-90% healed so I've been getting my deadlifting in though! My bench is still slowly progressing, I hit 160lbs for 4 reps, gonna see if I can get 5 today! Feb 24, 2013 12:14pm

afrosamurai04 hey man, yeah it's been a while! Back to the usual college and all that, break blazed by like no other haha. I switched back to 5x5 for bench from the 8-8-6-6 scheme and I added another 5-lbs (155) to my 5-rep max which was nice. I wanted to break 150 so bad and finally got to it! I've been taking it easy with legs though cause my lower back has been hurting a little for over a month, I think I may have strained it a little? How you been? Feb 1, 2013 1:34pm

Cheezziitt 30-90s depending on the body part and how hvy you went. When you hit your last rep you want to be challenged, not struggling as to lose form. You'll be able to learn to gage yourself, but with your 8,8,6,6, you should be averaging about 60 sec. P.S. Would love your vote! http://www.missphysiqueoftheweek.com/fitness-competition/ Thanks! splerf I too work full time, I also attend college full time. What you will need to do is invest. Invest is some tupperware and a cooler to carry it all in. I treat shakes as a last ditch effort to get my macros in. You dont want to rely on them. Jan 14, 2013 9:15am

splerf My first thought on mass gainers are, do you eat enough whole food. I personally feel that if you are eating enough whole clean foods mass gainers are not needed. Plus the cost of a good mass gainer would allow you to buy plenty of extra food. Jan 14, 2013 8:47am

afrosamurai04 Dang, benching your body weight for 8!?! Where are you at right now for bench? Yeah, bench is totally my most annoying lift, but I think I feel the most accomplished setting PRs for that lift compared to the others. I feel you on the holidays and work out schedules! Like on New Years Eve, I totally forgot that the gym closes early, and had to cut it short. Haha if there's one exercise that I realize that my left arm is weaker than my right, it's gotta be one-arm bicep curls! Jan 11, 2013 5:01pm
