Background

When I Started: Jul 1995
HOW I STARTED:

I started back in 1995, high school. I started lifting in gym class and got hooked after a few months. Soon my dad was buying me weight gainer and I never stopped lifting since.

WHY I LOVE IT:

Body building makes me feel good about my appearance, I also like the way my body feels after a good pump.

My Motivation Program

Lift heavy ass weight. Heavy ass weight makes muscles grow. Heavy ass weight can be in any rep range, because it is heavy ass weight and is kicking your balls seven ways to Sunday.

What rep range should I use? FAIL! It doesn’t matter – Lift heavy ass weights!

What should my rep speed be? FAIL! It doesn’t matter – Lift heavy ass weights!

Should I do cable crossovers before or after flyes, and should incline bench be performed with a 22 degree angle, or a 24 degree angle? FAIL! It doesn’t matter – Lift heavy ass weights!

What split is the most effective for mass? FAIL! FAIL! FAIL!

GO LIFT HEAVY ASS WEIGHTS!

But I don’t want to lift heavy! So and so says that squats are bad for your knees, and my mom is afraid and wants me to take up knitting.

Both so and so, and your mom (no offense to moms) can barely lift a roll of toilet paper to wipe their own asses. If you want to look like your mom, listen to the training advice of your mom. If you want to pack on muscle, lift heavy ass weight!

I have the same body type as his before picture - maybe a little more fat. It is just amazing looking at his results. I go the gym wondering around - not knowing what to do - what to eat - supplements to take. And once I feel that I am doing good or have a rough 14 hour day at work, I don't go.

Pushed Arms and Back hard today. Sitting at about 2800 Calories a day. Dropping down to 2400  when at 30 days left.  Starting cardio today. Feeling great. Hoping fo the best. If not a win at least I will feel good about my body. :)

What up all. I've been doing great with the contest so far. Headed into week 3!! I'm down to 208 so I've hit a 2 pound loss eash week. I'm going to go from 3000 calories to 2800 for this week ust to stay ahead of schedule. If this week goes well and I hit 204-205 pounds I might go back to 3000 calories.


Had my Saturday cheat day. Not mush of a cheat, stayed pretty close to my ideal calorie intake. Watched the movie SAFE HOUSE which I liked.


Chest tomorrow/today since it's like 1:47am.  Then legs, then arms. Repeat.

BRADxISxBACK Dam thats crazy dedicated. Whatevr works right? I'm at around 2700 a day, keeping ratios 50/40/10 and doin steady state for 30-35min at 65%THR. I had 1 cheat meal in 3 weeks and that seemd to SKYROCKET my progress. I'm down 17lbs and 7%bf so far. Cutting carbs back from 270-190 this week to see how that feels. Do work! Jan 24, 2011 12:58pm
