T, I pushed 2extra reps at 185 (2x3 week). It was actually easy, thought I could do more. Next week is 195, then rest week, then test. I let you know happens.
T, last night was squats 2x4 at 175, 2 weeks until the rest week. Actually on my first set I did 5 (accidently), no prob. I've been working the adductors, and I am lifting more than ever. Thanks, for your help.
Yeah I tried 385 DL and couldn't budge it. So I moved it down to 365 and got it up a few times. So I'm pretty lame compared to some of those competitors.
Yes I did have a great weekend. Went a lil crazy but still got to do some swimming and volleyball. So how many trainers do you have? Is it private 1-on-1 or a big facility? I'm in a big facility myself.
Ok. Week 2 is done. 2x10 at 135. Actually it was easier than the previous week. Maybe because I reversed my leg day order vor variety.
Good guys at the gym too, big help as spotters, and they watch form carefully.
Thanks T, Michel
T, When I did the squats, it was tough, but then 2 days later, I woke up to some acid in my legs. The squats were done on a total leg day, so it was intense. But the acid 2 days later was surprising. I have aways to go!
The westside barbell routine has been going great!! Been making steady gains and just hope to keep it up for as long as I can. Hope everything has been going well for you.
Thomas, nice transformation photographs and professional website. It's great to see someone show that strength comes in all sizes ... and you don't have to be a very large man in order to be very strong.
Did my max squat test last night, 205. I think I can do more when I am not restricting calories. i'll work out at 120 for a few weeks, then measure again.
