Started playing football at age 6 and continued doing so through college. Actually started working out with the team in June of 1990 (summer before my 7th grade season). From that point on, working out became a natural part of my life.
Why I Love It:
its an awesome stress reliever and it gives me a sense of accomplishment when I set a goal and reach it.
How I Stay Motivated:
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 90+ lbs since Jan 2005.

I don't necessarily concentrate on lbs I've lost now, but more so the inches and body fat % points I've dropped. When I just concentrate on cardio, I drop lbs pretty fast. But as soon as I touch..hell, even think about lifting again, I gain weight back. I pack on muscle much faster than I lose fat. So standing on a scale can be disheartening. My goal though, so be 260-280 lbs with less than 20% body fat. Having a 6-pack isn't a main goal, although Im sure it would look nice! lol My main goal, over anything, is to be healthy.
trial and error mostly but also from reading articles on what other people do who have the form i want. also revert back to some of my old college football workouts for when I want to add mass.
That was the very phrase one of my old HS football coaches used..and I developed a strong hatred for it in a quick minute. He would tend to say that right before we did up-downs till we puked or ran sprints till we cried LOL. But you know, looking back on that, he couldn't have been anymore...
Yeah, 30 oz and 28 oz is all I swing. 26 oz is waaay too light for me. A buddy of mine has a Juggernaut too. He loves it. I swing the Miken Recoil Mas Loaded and the TPS Triton. I love both the bats. The Triton isn't broken in yet, but it's still got pop.
Haha, finally there is someone who swings a 28 oz bat like me! Everyone I know here swings a 26 or 27. Yeah, change in the body always leads to changes on batting stances. I'm down to size 34 pants. Of course, mine had to be special made and the screwed them up. They made size 24 waist. So I had to wait and extra 2 weeks for new pants to be made.
Sounds like you are doing a good job bro! Keep up the great work! What size bat and what brand bat are you swinging? Good job on the 2-3. I've dropped 15 lbs since January so I've had to re-adjust my batting stance. I found my grove last week.
I usally swing Easton. But one of our sponsors is a Worth rep. Tho we dont get Worth for free, we do get a good discount. I have been swinging a teammates Resmondo Titan, its a max end load. It feels pretty good, but I orderd a Titan 120, the blanced one. 27 oz. Im looking forward to swinging it.
We played in a round robin with mostly a pic up bunch, about 7 of our guys. We won the rr but came in 3rd in the single game elimination tourny at the end. No bombs, but i hit it pretty decent...still too early for me to be playing.
whats up man.... i just got back from playing in a tourny. wore out, played 4 sat,and finished up sun, played 5 today. got your friend request on myspace. hope things are well with ya...
i always stay out of trouble. i'm angelic and stuff. didn't you see my halo? (dear santa, please dont put me on the naughty list for fibbing. thanks, HH) weekend was ok...sick as mess so nothing fun to report.
