I have always been in athletics, and started training since 15. As for bodybuilding, I did not start till 2006. My first show was the John Sherman where I got 2nd in the Novice Light Weight Division
Why I Love It:
The challenge. I am not a perfectionist by any means. But to bodybuild, you have to be so solid in so many different areas, but in the end, it forces you to face and take on yourself and your biggest weaknesses.
How I Stay Motivated:
Just looking at all the other individuals out there that may not have the same oppitunity like I do is enough motivation. I do not feel sorry for myself and do not wish to have anything handed to me.
BB Accomplishments:
The biggest accomplishment really is that I have made my changes the ALL NATURAL WAY. Not saying that guys that use drugs (steriods, insulin, GH) to enhance themselves don't work hard, they still have to put in the work. Just saying that I have chosen to do it with just dieting, training, cardio, and ONLY over the counter supplements.
HOW WOULD MY CLIENTS FEEL IF I TOLD THEM NO MATTER HOW HARD THEY TRAINED, THEY WOULD HAVE TO USE A NEEDLE ONE DAY TO GET WHERE THEY WANT TO BE. Just a thought.
But as for my real Accomplishments:
2005: FAME Houston, Texas: 1st Place Fitness Model
2005: FAME World Championships Toronto, Canada: 8th Place Fitness Model
2006: NPC John Sherman Houston, Texas: 2nd Place Novice Light Weight
2006: NGA Houston, Texas: 2nd Place Novice Light Weight
2007: WABDL "Dont be Scared" Humble, Texas: 1st Place Bench, 1st Place Deadlift in 181 Weight Class
2007: Musclemania Superbody Miami, Florida: 1st Place Novice Light Weight
2007: Musclemania Championships LA, California: 7th Place Open Middle Weight
2008: Musclemania Superbody Miami Florida: 4th Open Middle Weight
2008: USA Powerlifting Aggie Invitational: Out did personal best in the Deadlift, got 551 lbs RAW
2009: Texas Shreddar Classic: 7th place Open Middle Weight
2009: FAME Houston, Texas: 3rd Open/Advanced
2009: Musclemania Universe: 2nd Open Middle Weight
198 LBS at 14% bodyfat. Healthy and in shape of course. More of a power lifters body vs. bodybuilding
175 LBS at 3% bodyfat. 4th Musclemania Superbody Open Middle Weight. Best Showing ever. Many thought I should have place higher, but I believe it was a tough class and it could have gone in any direction. Just happy to be in the top of the class

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
Any can be dangerous if you do not perform with good form. Also, guys trying to left way more then what their fitness level allows. The thing I hate the most are the over use of forced reps. If you can not do at least 90% of your reps, you are wasting your time. Plus, force reps are dangerous because your body can not handle the weight, to the point where you need someone elses help. This is when you have the greatest risk of injury for you will not care about techique and just try to get the weight up. Thats when things get bad. hey man, i was searching through houston profiles and i found yours. You probably dont remember me though you may recognize my face if you saw me. I trained jui jitsu and muay thai at BONA about 13 months ago. I wasn't into bodybuilding then, and at the time just admired how freakin' huge you are. I didn't know there was a story to go with it. I've been meaning to go back to BONA again so if I drop in I'll introduce myself.
You are a true inspiration. I congratulate you for all the hard work. I would like to have you as my trainer, if lived closer. In the meantime, i'd like to learn anything that I can based on your experience and success. Have you posted your trainign, diet, other habits somewhere? If not, do you have any suggested reading for me? Again, congratulations and all the best! Alexi
