How I Started:
Looking to get in shape for football and really needed to get stronger because I was really weak to start out. Couldn't do cardio that well.
Why I Love It:
It's a fun experience and is really a beneficial hobby to not only improve the way I look but boost my self-confidence as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
By imagining myself in the near future bigger, leaner, and better than before.

Goal (Long):
It's been a wild ride for me. From the start of 2006 to now while my weight hasn't changed from a total standpoint, my bodyfat has been cut in half, from the low 40s to the mid 20s range last time I checked. Going from not being able to compete with my friends in sports to leading my pack has been an accomplishment, but trust me, there is no way I'm going to stop there!
thanks,glad to here that you getting back into it,as for my diet,i'm certainly getting enough cals,about 3000/3500.just trying to keep em as clean as possible,but i don't deprive myself of the odd cake here and there,i recon i will have to cut to around 2500/2200 to lose some fat.but there is no hurry.
i will adjust as i go along.

sorry for the late reply! I have a very diverse Cardio Playlist in my Shuffle! Anything from Hip Hop to Rock. I like to mix it up so I can keep moving! :-)
For the last 2 months or so, I have aspired to do 2 X 1hr sessions a day...still trying to keep that up, but it's not as intense...no energy right now!
What about you, goals?
The closer I get to the show, the less nervous I feel. Every time they start to creep up, I just remember how far I have come, and that no matter how I do, I have 'won' already...haha, yeah I know..lame "After School Special" crap, but it works...I am on 0 carbs, doing a super-hydration and eating a lot of protein...carb loading friday night, which I am really excited about!!
Thanks alot! Once I decided to do a show, and then picked a date, I was able to use that to keep me driven! I was so big before, that just having this as an accomplishment was so motivational! All the best to you brother!
