How I Started:
As a child I was very athletic and involved in many sports like softball, tennis, gymnastics and cheerleading. Over the years the majority of my workouts have been cardio and I know now that's why my body wouldn't change (and that I was actually burning muscle).
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel - that feeling that I've done something good for myself can't be topped.
How I Stay Motivated:
My husband ("v4lu3s" on here) is one of my greatest motivators. I also like to read health and fitness magazines and forums to help me stay focused. Other female bb'ers and competitors are very inspirational. Just knowing that I'll be standing half naked on a stage in front of a few hundred people is motivating in and of itself.
BB Accomplishments:
1- Getting on a stage with two little pieces of cloth on and rockin' it! 2- Competing in a Powerlifting competition and winning every event as well as overall. 3- Making the guys look bad.

How many reps per set do you usually do? Why?
10-12 b/c I usually lift 80% of my max. Helps me put on muscle

I was getting ready for an alleged show that was going to occur over here in the desert before I left, but alas no show so I’m just trying to maintain before I begin contest prep for a couple of shows when I get home.  I leave here around the middle of April.  One year gone from home now.....
