I was tired of being a skinny 6'3" 140lb kid and getting made fun of all the time! In addition I really wanted to play football so my coach told me to gain weight. I started lifting with the team and fell in love with it, now I'm a bodybuilder.
Why I Love It:
The human body can be seen as a work of art. It's amazing how people can "sculpt" their bodies to look absolutely beautiful. Your body is the one thing you own for your entire life and thus you should take care of it. I enjoy seeing my progress overtime, and I am proud of the fact that all the hard work I have done over the past four years had paid off so much!
How I Stay Motivated:
It's not hard, I love it!
BB Accomplishments:
I've only done one show, and that was the NPC Atlants in 2006. I placed 1st, Teen Heavyweight and 2nd Overall. I don't think I did very well as I loaded to many carbs and looked bloated on stage. Also, we had very little time to pump up backstage and no weights. I think a much greater accomplishment is that in 4 years I went from 140lbs at 12% bodyfat to 255lbs at 8% bodyfat.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

I had never lifted weights before this point. I weighed a mere 135lbs and had a terrible diet of Coke and Pizza.
After I hit 260lbs I started to lean out again. In this pic I am 255lbs at around 11% bodyfat I think.
My ultimate goal is to be at least 300lbs at 6% bodyfat or less and to be the best Soldier I can be.
Goal (Long):
Not only do I want to be MASSIVE and SHREDDED, but also flexible and quick. I am leaving for the Air Force in November and I am going to be a JTAC, which is part of a TACP Special Ops unit. I want to be the best at what I do
Great pictures. Your progress has been amazing. You look like a different person. You have gone from someone who looks like they would blow away in a strong wind to the Rock of Gilbralter. Great work.
