When my parents divorced in '06 I needed a place to get away. So I spent about 3 hours a day at the local YMCA working out. Then in '07 one of my best friends started taking me to the gym with him (he's an ex-football player.) Now I'm doing it for myself and on my own.
Why I Love It:
I get so much more done on a day that I work out. I'm more focused and energetic. Plus I love the feeling I get when I look in the mirror post-work out and see sweat running off my face.

First off, Welcome home! This community really is a great one. I personally haven't had this much positive reinforcement before. Just remember that you love to do this...it may be a chore now, but stick with it. as you improve yourself in the gym that will reflect on your image of yourself. Stay strong and know that there are 300,000+ people behind you at BODYSPACE. ALL THE BEST!
In this life things will get tough quite a bit so always remember to stay motivated, look in the mirror and smile at your beautiful self, and know there are people out here that can pick you up.
