Overall Goal:  Well...I did it!!! I dropped 100lbs and competed in my first ever bodybuilding show...I LOVED IT!!! Back to the drawing board to prepare for the next show!

Have been working out since I was a teenager, but have only focussed on bodybuilding over the last few months.
Why I Love It:
It's just so different from other sports...it's how hard you push yourself.
How I Stay Motivated:
Seeing my results and having other people notice the little changes...

Competed in my first bodybuilding competition July 11th/09. I came in last, but you have never seen someone so excited! I was just so proud of my accomplishments! Hoping to compete again next year.

Well...I did it!!! I dropped 100lbs and competed in my first ever bodybuilding show...I LOVED IT!!! Back to the drawing board to prepare for the next show!
Goal (Long):
Ever since I started lifting about 12-13 years ago, I thought it would be fun to try and enter a show. But I was un-disciplined and untrained and I wonder where I would be now had I kept it up. So now I have a great trainer who is pushing me in the right direction, and I am trying for a huge transformation! I figure if I can turn around my physique now, it will be a huge accomplishment, whether I compete or not!!

Diet isn't too bad right now....I'm sure my trainer will have me start cutting soon...oh by, not going to be fun LOL As for the cardio...oh my - I hate it but have to keep telling myself how much I LOVE IT! LOL I'm doing the Step Mill , the sweat box machine from HELL!! it is suppose to help "lift" the butt - LOL we'll see!

Yeah well it is a draining job preparing for a comp! As for me, I'm just getting back in the swing of things! Stopped at around January for no real reason and then I let myself go. Hopefully I'll stay on track this time around!
